2021 TAX DUE DATES
January 15
- Corporations - Deposit fourth installment of 2020 estimated tax
- 941 - Employer's Quarterly Federal Employment Tax Return
- 940 - Employer's Annual Federal Unemployment Tax Return and related taxes
- Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) C-3 Quarterly Payroll Report
January 20
- Texas Sales tax - Monthly, Quarterly and Annual
February 1
- W2s must be issued to report wages and taxes withheld for all employees for the year just ended
- 1099s must be issued to Healthcare providers, lawyers, and any unincorporated business to which you paid $600 or more during the year just ended
March 15
- 1120-S - S-Corporation returns must be filed or extended. If filed, K-1s must be issued to all owners
- 1065 - Partnership returns must be filed or extended. If filed, K-1s must be issued to all partners
- 1041 - Trust distributions for prior year should be complete
April 1
- Personal property tax renditions must be filed with your local appraisal district
April 15
- 1040 Personal returns - All personal tax is due April 15th. Penalties will be incurred for taxes paid after April 15th.
- 1120 C-Corporation - All corporate tax is due April 15th. Penalties will be incurred for taxes paid after April 15th.
- 1041 Trusts and estates must be filed or extended if on an annual calendar
May 15
- Texas franchise tax return is due for all Texas registered limited liability entities. Franchise tax is due May 15th. Penalties will be incurred for taxes paid after May 15th.
