About Us

Caudell & Associates, PC is an accounting firm that specializes in business advisory, tax planning and accounting services for healthcare and other professional services providers. Having owned and operated his own practice since 2005, principal and CPA Greg Caudell knows first-hand the demands of successfully running a business. Recognizing the unique issues faced by dental and medical providers, Caudell & Associates acquired the assets of an established medical and dental tax practice in 2012, solidifying its leadership position in this focus area.

What makes Caudell & Associates different from other accounting firms? Beyond our specialized client focus, we offer a robust suite of services to help our clients operate and grow their practices more profitably. In addition to tax planning and compliance, accounting and payroll services, Caudell & Associates provides expert business advisory services aimed at helping our clients improve how they run their businesses. Through a unique six-step process, clients who engage Caudell & Associates receive guidance on creating and implementing repeatable processes, controls and results measurement. We help our clients develop and articulate their practice’s mission, vision and values. As your practice grows, our six-step process assists in developing job descriptions and employee handbooks.

Greg Caudell, CPA

As the president and founder of Caudell & Associates, PC, Greg’s accounting and business advisory experience spans over 25 years. Since 2005, Greg has focused on working with owner-operated businesses. In his role, Greg works closely with the firm’s clients to deliver financial and operational insights while also managing and developing the team. Prior to starting Caudell & Associates, Greg served as the CFO and Head of US Operations for WestLB Asset Management. A licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas, Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Southwestern University as well as a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Texas.

Mike Dispenza, cpa

A CPA with a background in accounting, banking and compliance Mike has worked for Caudell & Associates since October 2016. In his role, Mike delivers a range of financial accounting, tax and advisory services to Caudell’s private healthcare practice clients, including financial statement preparation; tax planning, preparation and compliance; and management consulting, analysis and internal controls development. He previously held a number of positions at Wells Fargo Financial and JP Morgan Chase Bank. Mike graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Chris Barker, Practice Administrator

Chris brings more than 30 years of human resources experience to her role as practice administrator for Caudell & Associates, where she has worked since October 2018. In her role, Chris provides organizational and consultative support to the team and the firm’s clients. Prior to joining Caudell, Chris held a number of HR-related roles at TechnipFMC Process Technology, most recently serving as HR Manager. Chris attended both Houston Community College and the University of Houston.
